Report on April 19 - Back on the street!

ANOTHER HUGE CROWD!

….at Saturday’s Port Townsend Protest. The dogs and the people have spoken. Such a great town filled with smart, angry people who want their democracy back. Roll down for more photos.

What a great demonstration! The drone counted about 1200 which was pretty impressive. The signs were creative and people spread out along E. Sims Way so that motorists got a good look. Keep an eye out for another national mass mobilization the first week of May.

Our local Indivisible Port Townsend was proud to join other groups across the country in demonstrations called for by 50501 among other activist groups. April 19 is the 250th anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the first major military engagements of the Revolutionary War. So it seemed like it's a good time to take to the streets again!
