FYI The success of June 14 rally was not without controversy, albeit good airing of many sides of the issues. Reactions in our local paper, PTLeader, are examples of our community’s diversity and good example of why we subscribe to a movement called INDIVISIBLE. No matter our stance, we do not want to be divided.
One of our group’s leaders says of the controversy raised “the flag is a complicated symbol of good, horror and indifference, but it is also the symbol of an ideal we are all trying to perfect. We will keep trying to achieve "a more perfect union" because democracy, for all its flaws, is worth saving.”

========= below written prior to June 14===
Donald Trump thinks his rule is absolute, but in America, we don’t do “kings.” Since the inauguration, the Trump administration and its enablers have operated as though they have a mandate—but they don’t, and never did. They are going to extremes to empower Trump and enrich themselves, while cutting jobs and services for the rest of us. Now, they’re turning Flag Day into a celebration of Trump.
We’re standing together against the abuses of power, cruelty, and corruption. On June 14, we gather to remind Trump and his enablers: America has No King
June 14 is Flag Day and the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Continental Army, the forerunner of our U.S. Army. It is fitting we honor veterans and not a corrupt president who will spend millions of taxpayer dollarson a military parade to glorify his birthday.
